Nice to see everything back up and running again. Although I don’t post very often I do enjoy reading other peoples posts and so have missed the forum. Thanks to all who have been working away to bring it back.

Frank

Yes many thanks to Matthew Apparently it was a server change problem but he might tell us more.

Thank you for the invitation, Richard!

I think it was a combination of two things: the hosts had retired the server on which the forum sits and told me they no longer had access to it. ("Great", I thought to myself.) Subsequently it was discovered that our database had exceeded its limit - there isn't a warning system in place for when this is about to happen and it has nothing to do with server space (of which we have plenty).

Once I coughed up some more money to extend our database capacity, things fell back into place. It simply HAD to happen just before the weekend, though, didn't it?!

Thank you all for your concern, help, support and patience along with my apologies!

Best,

Matthew

Hi All
Yes the forum seems fine all working
There is one thing i noted sometime before the site went down it may not be a problem to any of us but we are using an insecure site..
if you look at the address bar in google it says not secure at the start of the address not sure if mathaw is aware of this or not as i said its Likly not a problem but just wanted to bring it to your attention

Colin
