Another cry of help!
I have just turned on my amplifier and everything is dead silent...the valve start to glow and i start to play music...but here is the problem...everything remains dead silent!!!!
Any idea's? I am aware that it could be pretty much anything...but some pointing in the right direction would be very gratefully recieved by me. |

Re: Another cry of help!
Did you do any voltage checks before you tried to use the amp?

Re: Another cry of help!
Check for simple things first !
Is everything before the amp plugged in,switched on and connected ?

Hi Malka07,
I'm no expert (having not built my own amp's) but i'm thinking possible failure of the high voltage supply? As the valves are glowing the heater circuit is still ok. No HT no music. |
