Vinyl sales at 10 year high
I've just seen a report on the BBC news website that states that vinyl sales are at a 10 year high, my wife thinks that I'm responsible for most of it!

You must have plenty of money Martin, I did buy vinyl until the price went stupid, now I download, shame,if the price of vinyl was lower I would buy again. BOB

Re: Vinyl sales at 10 year high
Well, if you have friends near Brooklyn they might be able to just get them at the supermarkt... Read this online this morning: http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer...lls-vinyl.html

Re: Vinyl sales at 10 year high
Problem is Bob -you can't sell a download if you get tired of it and if your hard disk becomes corrupted - you've lost everything.
And remind me how much a high res. download costs in the UK, here in Europe that is around €14 - I'll stick to vinyl and CD. When a really good ADC becomes available and building a dedicated music PC never connected to the i/net then transposing my collection is something I will definately do. |
