There is always Amazon to mop up, online on a massive scale. City centre shopping could be a thing of the past, just the betting shops and £ shops to keep us company.

I used to buy from HMV on line but in the end their prices could not compete with others. By way of example, the recent Beatles catalogue vinyl release was £50 cheaper through Amazon.
