Solid state Tant caps
Good day all
Has any one used these solid state Tant caps as cathode by - pass caps especially in the input stage of a valve amp. I read these caps have got excellent qualities and are the cap to be used above any other electrolytic. Acorn |

Re: Solid state Tant caps
They are very good at smallish values and voltages, depending on type of manufacture, and we are planning to offer them in our forthcoming preamp Pre3. In many cases they can be a good bypass cap for higher value electrolytics.

Re: Solid state Tant caps
Hi Peter
I have tried them on the cathode as a by pass cap on my input valves and they have excellent high frequency performance, the best I have heard so far, unfortunatley, has you pionted out they only seem so come in low voltages, but thats fine for low voltage pre amp stages.. Acorn |
