Hey, thanks all, home now but a lot has changed in 11 years when my Left knee was replaced, that went as good as can be expected, this time, just 30 minuets after getting back to your room after surgery, in walk two physio therapists and said, we have come to help you with your exercises , 11 years ago one rested for 24 hours then started exercises, not this time, well, they got me out of bed on a Zima frame and said gently walk about, the bloody pain was excruciating and three times I almost passed out, I almost told them to f off, they did let me rest, the nurse gave me some very strong pain killers and two hours later the physio's came back and I tried again, still very painful so I said NO I cant do this yet, one asked, how is the pain if 0 being nothing and 10 very painful, I replied 12.5, they left and let me sleep, the next morning after a good nights sleep was much better with just moderate pain, the following day I went home. I now the NHS is under pressure but this arrangement of physio so soon after what is brutal surgery is out of order. These knee joints need to last for the rest of my life as I will never go through this again. Bob PS now lets talk Thermionic

That's good for you friend Colin and I hope she does well, hip replacement, although painful, is much less dramatic than knees. I may show you pictures of the bruising that has now come out on my legs. Bob
