I would certainly go along with that! Very competent company, superbly finished results. Very easy ordering system and CAD package. Top marks.

I am less than impressed with them. They produced an amp front with not only the required lettering engraved and coloured but all the cut out dimensions engraved as well eg power 22x12mm treble 10mm. They didn't see this as a problem and refused to do anything about it leaving me with an expensive (72 Euro) piece of scrap.
How they could have imagined anyone would want an appliance front like that is beyond me!

Yes I see what you mean but, otoh, it is a unique design!

no, no, the more I think about it, I'd be ****ed off with them.

What did your CAD drawing look like? Did you add these 'notes' on yourself? I can imagine they will reproduce exactly what is on the drawing no more, no less and probably without too much thought, its a very automated process, after all.

Now, if they engraved stuff that you never drew on there, or was added automatically by the CAD package but its not yours, then they have a bug in their code and I think you have a case! And you have my sympathies.

But I can't tell from what your post, which was it?

Hi-sorry,but my first reaction was to laugh !

I thought it was very funny.

If it were me i would probably be giving myself a good talking to and (whilst still laughing) marvelling on how such a thing could happen.

Schaeffer seem to have an unrivalled reputation in this very specialised field and give people exactly what they ask for.

Have you seen the funny side yet ?

My order arrived within 10 days (a replacement panel for my KIT6550 as it had been converted to a KAT6550). Looks good, really impressed with the service (even more impressed I got the measurements right).
