I think you can get various tweeters that go to zigahurts for a few quid from RS won't sound any good but affordable and ok for the heathens who listen to broadcast quality digital music.

In the 70s if you mentioned bradcast quality you meant it was a fantastic piece of kit, now it means edgy sound with no natural timbre whatsoever and if you have sensetive ears you can't listen to it for a minute. It's so bad if anyone has a radio on on site I unplug it.

Martin, here is the tweeter I mentioned at Eggfest.
Visaton DHT9 32.8 Euro's highly recommended by Benny,
small horn tweeter looks like the cheap Fostex.
I use the TL16H and he says it comes very close to it at a fraction
of the cost.

A couple of years ago Jimmy Hughes ()HiFi answers) was recomending the CTS piezo from Maplin ,I dont know if they are still available.I have mislaid the article now but CARLOSFM on a rival forum has posted crossover details.
