Default the weather.

I am now getting ++++++ off with the rain this winter, don't want to go out on my bicycle, no point because the pubs are shut and in any case, I have done my fair share of ridding in the wet and cold, the music kit is working fine so no need to take anything to bits, can't get on the garden, waterlogged, the little stream at the bottom of the garden is knocking on the fence, no motorcycles to work on, all safely in the spare room for hibernation, nobody asking for help so, supping some Robinsons Old Tom 8.5 % and then some of Scotland's finest, come on chaps, help me. Bob

Despite divesting myself of the incontinent Britbikes and now possessing only leak-free machines, I'm still not allowed these things anywhere near the house, let alone in a bedroom. I think it's me who needs help!

Opened the garage door this morning and within five minutes, everything was sweating in the mild temperatures. Quickly shut it again - can't afford all this ACF50.

With the opportunity of having clean hands, I spent the afternoon rotating the speakers on their mounts. I do this every six months or so, taking out the bolts and moving the driver around 180 deg so that the weight of the cone and coil is moved to another part of the suspension. I have no idea if it makes any difference but it was suggested by the great Ronnie Rackham (look him up) many years ago; I have been doing it since 1967 so it has become a ritual which I'm happy to continue. Besides, it allows me to look behind the scenes and check that all is well.

My plan was to spend some Winter months in a sunny climate, but am here busy hanging 32kg fire doors after replacing all the door liners, 1mm gap. Recording studios try to be air tight, doors and windows. I hate the dark mornings, today the sun is out but very low..

Chris said, today the sun is out but very low.. well Chris, that is because the angle of the Earth in relation to the Sun, is such that the Northern hemisphere is now further away from the sun than is the southern hemisphere just spare a thought for all our Scottish members as some will only have a few hours of very low sun, but. Am going to nip over to Dorset, I only counted the one Sun this morning...
The Lulworth Cove looks like a good place to swim? there has been a massive increase in Winter cold water swimming, any one tried?

Nice pic! Very dark nights the last couple of nights even though it was very clear here as it's just been New Moon...
