Upgrade Path from PhonoII to Phono III

The new PCB will be available in 3 weeks. It includes the LF filtering for switching via the front panel and a trimmer pot for those who have an oscilloscope and would like to trim the 3.18uS EQ for a perfect square wave. It is also a better layout with thick ground tracks running down the centre of the board and the extra supply decoupling. We will add it to the catalogue when we have it in stock.

Please note that this PCB does not include input switching. That is handled by a new PCB which locates on the phono sockets of the new case and includes optional input resistance and capacitance loading for MM cartridges as well as primary and secondary resistance loading for MC transformers. Input switching is via DC relays actioned via a front panel switch.
