Hi all,
I am sure that all transformers with the black paper around the core and gold hand writing were made by Ripley Transformers of Ripley in Surrey, who I think are now part of a larger group on the south coast. I think Richard wrote somewhere on the BB who they now are. More info: 2A3 Optx - Design nr 7525 2A3PSE 2K/8R 300B PP Optx - Design7636 300BPP 6R O/P These have cores wrapped in beige masking tape with white type labels and I believe were made by a company in or near Cambridge. The ideal person to give us the info is of course Nick Lucas. I will see if i can persuade him to release the info. John aka Dr john
