Default NEW CATEGORY called DIY HIFI please....

Also can we have a Sticky for this weeks top ruskie buys from the bay and amazon etc.....

Any new or surplus kit coming from the soviet bunkers to ebay for the more adventurus or poorer forum members....

Kinda like..... Spot... 6*4j substitute 6AU6 and fits in KEL34 as phase splitter. Good batch, all tested, 10 sent 10 passed all my tests £22 for 10 delivered to my door. Clean pins 105% and above on my calibrated tester....http://www.radiomuseum.org/tubes/tube_6j4p.html

LINK@EBAYORWHATEVER.com link to seller or wad stocks???

Ruskie stocks of PIO are cheap too and teflons as well....

Would this be a good thing for WD?

PS The above example on price is real except they were cheaper than that...... Some great US stuff too coming to light from the US stockpiles.....

Also worthy of note is the 6*4 currently being sold on Ebay from Ukraine. It is a great octal pentode with same caracteristics as the 6AC7 pentode All of mine passed and put the needle right off the scale when tested in my calibrated tester

Again wd stocks or bay link....

Triodes are cheap from there too and most tested good with one exception outa 20 that failed on heater up for testing.... bin.... but 19/20 aint bad going at about £30 for 20.... can you believe it 1.50 per triode or pentode and they all test over 100% brand new in nuke proof rappings.... Cheap to post too.....
