My personal experience is that taking the crossovers out of the cabinets and mounting them in external cases is the way to go sound wise. In my KLS3 speakers, this brought a significant improvement to sound quality and I have no doubt the same would apply to the WD25T's. Secret is to totally detach the crossover boards from the cabinets. Some have externally bolted their crossovers onto the rear panel of their speakers and in my view this is wrong. Put them in boxes completely separated from the speaker cabinets, and then run individual signal wires to the drivers. Situate the crossover boxes close to the back of the speakers to keep signal wires thereafter to a minimum length. For connection wires from the crossover boxes into the speaker cabinets I use IPL Acoustic HU1.
