Can anyone tell me any specifications on D8773 which were output transformers on Pre 2.

I have acquired a pair and wonder what use I can put them to.

I suspect that these part numbers relate to the E/I version. I have the earlier toroid output transformers on the amp that I'm currently restoring. The part nos are:

Mains Tx - as above Gold Seal Tor 251
Output Tx - YE620PB (mine are also marked B/N 19319

Hope this helps someone someday

104 mm high, of which 65 mm stack

looks like a 248 lamination configured as a drop through with a chrome plated cap

I would agree, I can't find any evidence of an SE 6550 amp, but possibly the mains transformer was used for something else first, then re-purposed?

I would like to find the spec of the mains tx if possible

If this is any help, the WAD mains transformer is as follows, primary - brown orange in parallel with red blue for 120v join brown and red - blue and orange, for 240 join orange and red, brown live blue 0v, secondary - black black white - 420-0-420 35mA this is for rectification ( thermionic ) purple - purple 5v 6amp for valve rec. heaters, grey - yellow - grey 3.15-0-3.15 9amp for all other heaters. Many thanks Bob

The mains tx, chassis and valve layout makes me think this was a KAT6550 which somebody decided to re-purpose.
