Captive speaker cables

As I have made up my external crossovers as suggested inside cigar boxes, I am thinking of connecting them direct to my boxes without resorting to bananas or spades anywhere, in other words I´m going to use captive cables between boxes and Xovers. Is there an accepted, neat way of exitting the boxes or should I be looking for some kind of grommet to accomodate the cables woofer/tweeter cables and thence to the cigar boxes ? Any ideas ?

I would only do that if you never move your speakers. I have moved house several times and it would have been a right pain in the elbow if my external X-over boxes had been dangling behind on wires as i loaded my speakers in and out of the car, carried them up flights of steps etc. Also if you ever want to fiddle with the x-overs it would mean carrying the whole speaker to the work bench/kitchen table. It is your call but i would not do it that way.
