Hi_Fi World DIY vinyl amplifier in pull out magazine
Hello folks,
A very long time ago Hi-Fi world had a pull out magazine. In it was a DIY vinyl amplifier with MM and MC options. MM using a 743 op-amp and MC using 797 op-amp It also had the RIAA eq. Can anyone point me to a printout/photo of the article. I've just re-discovered the circuit board, that I made from the magazine. But have lost the circuit diagram and article. Cheers Pete |

Part 1 was in supplement number 6, and part 2 was in supplement number 7.
That's according to my Gold archive CD Rom. Not sure what the copyright issues are these days, I assume that they are Matthews ?

Just a thought.
If I had the supplements in paper, or on the Gold archive disc, would I need permission from Matthew to build something FOR MY OWN USE using details contained in those supplements ? I realise that passing on such information to a 3rd party is a different matter.

Re: Hi_Fi World DIY vinyl amplifier in pull out magazine
Hi all,
I built one of these, and apart from a minor PCB error it worked very well. IF there was enough interest we could resurrect it. I don't think the PCB would cost too much to have manufactured and we could certainly have it upgraded to a plated through hole (PTH) type, as the original was a double sided type. Components have improved since then and of course we would socket the ICs for the inveterate "chip" rollers. John |
