Kit Options
For discussion, may not be economic.
I think that there is a market for kits in stages. By this I would like to see a kit avaliable either basic with " Maplin " type components or all singing with Black Gate quality. Then an upgrade kit from A - B Possibly even two transformer sets. "Comments? " |

Re: Kit Options
I think a lot of people may be put off if the kit cost too much, so it makes good sense to do a basic kit which can at later stage be upgraded, so having built your kit one could just replace the transformers to something a bit special, which is much better then having to change the whole amp, also knowing how people like tweaking it would be a smart move. One could also trade the old transformers in..

UPGRADE options.
I would vote YES to kit upgrade options.
I would vote NO to expecting any company to effectively buy back any used components that they would then have to try to sell on. |
