I take it you haven't tried using them, just getting the socket to connect to the heater pins was enough to put me off them.

Just read an article on the 6C33 by NK and he seemed like it. Certainly would be different. If the issues could be overcome with sockets etc. then it would make a nice change from 300B/EL34's etc.

What article was that Neil? That would be a interesting read given some of the other commments made about the "tractor" valves. I thought that you could make a nice cheap PP amp out of them, but they are far from easy things to use.

HFW, Nov 2003 edition.
Graff use them in their OTL. Noel also wrote about various o/p valves in a valve feature. |
