Sometimes registrants want to know why the first question asked during the registration process is Date Of Birth.

We are obliged to follow the COPPA rules which require that any would-be member under the age of 13 is vetted for parental permission before joining a Bulletin Board. This is for their own protection.

A COPPA user is under the age of 13. COPPA is a law that requires children under the age of 13 to get parental consent before they can post.

So, please, enter your correct date of birth during the registration process. We do not use this, or any other, information for marketing or any other purposes.

Nor are we attempting to act like 'Big Brother'!
