Never used croc clips before this. Bloody useful for swapping things around. Could easily get to a mAplins tomorrow or Sat if you want me to get a set of 4 and put them in the post. Let me know.

Most of the Resistors are standard maplins bought yesterday. Just happened to have some 39K Rikens unused from the pseudo shunt mod.

It occurs to me that the harshness some hear with the 103 could be attenuated by using Kiwames as 1st 2 resistors. They certainly warm/soften things in other applications. My Percy order (see other thread) is partly to get some Kiwames for this.

Yes, settled on 280R for the 103 and moved to 330R after the article was published! Oh well!

In my system 47R for the 103R gave the best results, YMMV though.
