KEL84 or something along the same lines is a must.

An updated KEL84 with some of the mods (bridge rect, slightly lower feedback) would be good.

I think to send a decent PCB but include plans for hardwiring would be excellent.

6v6 less powerful cooler running not available new afaik.

Kel84 proven excellent design, can't see any obstacles to rehashing it, you can't copywrite a valve amp design with nothing new about it since the Mullard book was published.

Don't know Ian but it wouldn't be hard to redesign as a category of amp if needed. I'm not sure just how different the design would have to be or even if it is covered by rights if it can be shown to have been used before.

For example, a front end and concertina splitter similar to Kel84 is used by Morgan Jones with an ECC88 in his "Practical 10W el84 power amp" and there are probably others using the ecf80.

Mullard 5-10 is open-source and spawned similar types such as Leak ST20. The Leak is good so I'd really like to hear the 5-10, which only uses one cap coupled stage, with good OPTXs.
