Picture Posting Problem

Hi Peter
Is it possible that I there is something in the admin area stopping me from posting photos?
When I try to add photos from photobucket, I get the message files from external URLs not allowed.

Just try posting the image's address (e.g.->http://www.Photobucket.com/RH/piccy1) surrounded by the [I.M.G] and [/I.M.G] tags.

As per other thread's on this subject please try to make sure the image is not too big (800 x 600 pixels is plenty big enough!).

Thanks for response, all I get is "Remote file uploads have been disabled", but I cann't see where I have the option to enable them.
I've now tried URL, comment is as above, Tag and Image references give "Invalid File"

Send me a PM detailing where the picture is and I'll happily look into it.

Basically you need to ignore the 'Manage Attachments' feature as it's functionality has been turned off, but the button left there just to confuse!

Hi David,

She should be called Prometheus as the left speaker is missing but her real name is Jet. Very unfriendly. We have a really friendly Retriever (Harvey). Maybe he'll make an appearance sometime, I like to get him in my pics.
