Baffling

hi,
just found this pic of a speaker I half finished in the nineties.
It sounded remarkably good like this without it's proposed all enveloping cover isolated from the frame with foam.
I suppose it is an open baffle design but I knew nothing about them back then, well until I arrived here really.

I moulded the baffle in plaster and then took a fibreglass mould, from which this fibreglass baffle emerged.
Drive units were from the TDL transmission line range.
