Default Pick up Transformer confusion

Today, I received 2 Cinemag CMQEE-3440A transformers. The connections are identified on the datasheet as 37.5, 150, 600. How does this translate into the ratios required. Taking square roots you get roughly 6, 12 , & 24. Is this right or am I all at sea?

Thanks

Steve

9, 18, 36 are the ratios. Start with the 18 or 150ohm tap. Which cartridge are you using?
Their wiring can cause noise....I have a better way of wiring them up which avoids the noise issue. Let me know if you'd like a diagram.

Great step-ups.

Regards

Gerry,
I am using a Dynavector Karat 17d Mk 2 which needs to see a load of >100 ohms and has an output of 0.23 mV. Any clues on how to reduce noise would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Steve

Here you go. Sorry for the delay it was on my office pc.

I just used a tag strip to terminate the wires not used.

The black wire connects to the screen and should be
connected to the phono socket if it goes to chassis earth
you will loose the screening.

It does work as above. Richard at Vantage Audio and I struggled with CineMag's set up due to hum. This is what was settled on with the phono cable as pseudo-balanced, the cable screen going to the earth.
No hum, Deadly silent.
