Default Emoticons

Anyone else having problems getting the Smilies to tag onto their postings ?

They seem to have stopped working at this end.

I'll rephrase that...SOME are working ok.

e.g. only seems to work sometimes. Odd!

What browser you using Shian7 ?

I'm using IE7.

I'm pretty certain that the problems I'm experiencing have got something to do with the current snowfall, and the problems various BB members had seeing the stuff.

Put another way, I have not changed any settings at this end.

Chris

PS. I got the smiley to work by actually typing it in, not by my usual method of just clicking on the smiley in the box

Yes I think it must be the snow too. When writing a post, does your cursor blink rapidly in sync with the falling snowflakes?

The cursor is blinking at approx 250ms on, 250ms off.
The proximity of snowflake does not seem to affect this on/off ratio, although this is counted in "elephants", one elephant being roughly one second in length when said out loud and not rushing.

Pretty scientific time measurement, eh ?
I seem to remember the concept being used in the film "Gregory's Girl".

Now that the snowfall has ceased the Smilies all seem to work.

Just hoping the threatened real snowfall doesn't badly affect the majority of the country.
