I put the old thrust plate between the circlip and the rest of the bearing and that sorted in.

Thanks for your help everyone. I hope that someday i'll be able to contribute something useful.

While I'm thinking about it, I've been considering trying to make something usefull out of the old lenco arm. I was thinking about using the old arm pillar and making a wooden arm wand. Any opinions?
