Hi Ewan,

I would recommend trying it without global feedback in triode mode. If your speakers are an easy load it should sound really good. Power will be reduced by a fair bit, but sensitivity should be higher.

Hi all

anyone still got details on the KEL84 conversion from UL to triode and pentode? Thought I might have a fiddle in the next few week-ends

I would strongly recommend pure pentode mode, far better.
