Default New Audiophile Label

Check out www.soundkeeperrecordings.com. The album LIFT could make a empty3 player sound decent. Available as a DVD or a -R CD. Read the reviews. It is a remarkable recording.

Don't mean to sound disparaging but I bought the direct from master cd of this and I wasn't impressed at all.Neither was anyone else when I played it a couple of Owstfests ago.Shame really as I'd read some good things about it.

When I read the term "Audiophile Recording" then it's usually something to avoid at all cost.

I think that all of the forum members appreciate decently recorded music, but if the content is devoid of any real spark of creativity or emotion then it is a waste of the short time we have here called life.

Having listened to a number of the samples available, I wish I hadn't bothered - does nothing for me at all ! It's finger in ear music (nyaaaaagh) at best - at worst I'll say nowt.

I prefer positive criticism to negative, but I am unable to be positive about the material/performance on offer here !
