Default Prototype OPT

Recently finished winding a Prototype OPT design ,7K A-A , 43% UL tap ~ Came in at 10 Kilo ! , Currently strapped onto a faithful old 5-20 chassis and on test .

thats one serious opt !
how about a diy article on opt's they are not difficult to wind by hand and a kit would be great.
maplin used to do a mains transformer kit many years ago, with a pre wound primary.
a WD output transformer kit / parts for sale with a few example transformers would be fantastic!

What you really need is another pair for me to test on my 832a amp.

So,what's the initial impressions ?

I think hand winding an OPT would not be so easy
