Ben Taylor... Oh dear...!
The Legend of Kung Folk...!!!
So, what's it all about...??? He's the son of James Taylor (and a woman I guess) and many would think cannot do a thing wrong...! Wrong...!! The songs are very good and definitely show a level of breeding and maturity that can be sadly lacking at the moment but the recording quality is awful. All spoken sibilants are way over emphasised and shout out loud in a very annoying, aggravating manner. I find this fortunately very rare these days with CD being the average. Back in the old days of purely vinyl it was fairly common with some cartridge and arm combinations. Given a tendency for slight mistracking, sibilance was fairly common and this was the main result. Nowadays it appears to speak volumes about the quality of the recording. In summary... excellent music awful recording.
