Seem's like it's just me and you Richard that don't like coffee, oh well, never mind, it's the thought that counts and the taking part.

No i'm not crazy about real coffee either.
I've been given too many horrible concoctions in the past.
Sainsburys cheapest in a jar, does me.
Prefer a cup of tea though.

I had to think about this. I can't stand instant. I can manage a milky latte from a friends machine sometimes. In 1981 I did enjoy a small cup of strong Turkish coffee in a harbour restaurant in Greece but it was 10 in the morning after a heavy night and I was probably just glad to be alive and didn't realise what it was. In 1977 I did go through a phase of having one of those Bernie Inns (very) Rum coffees after a steak for the challenge of drinking it through the cream. But, no, that's about it for me

Hi All
I have been a member for quite a while, but don't post often because I don't know my volts from my amps.Never the less I do enjoy reading other peoples post and seeing the results of their labours.Better still getting to listen to some at the get together over in Yorkshire that I went to once.
In the mid fifties as a 15 year old I was labeled a Coffee bar cowboy by my new workmates, they all swilled beer down the pub ,while I visited the local Coffee bars, where my mates and I could listen to the latest pop music. That was until the local Teddy boys would arrive in drain pipes ,brothel creepers, string ties, velvet collars on their finger length coats, studded belts, etc.one look and we knew it was time to go.
I still like sharing a coffee with my better half when we are out and about.

Vinnie.

Nice to see you are still alive Derek, I sometimes like a wee dram at that hour, only joking.
