hi,
I don't know whether I've mentioned this before but I have my father's old portable valve radio.

I have had a brief look at it before and cobbled together batteries to try the ht and lt but not a sign of life.
I have found a bit of info here

I intend to have a deeper delve.
Do you think if I can obtain the correct valves and drop them in it might be a starting point.
