Going Digital
Hello,
I've got quite a lot of stuff on iTunes and find CD's on Apple lossless very good. I've tried downloading some flac stuff from Naim Label as an experiment but can't get it to work on Windows Media Player. I thought I might get another one (Media Monkey perhaps) and start to download some hi res stuff for use with a Dacmagic Plus. Any suggestions would be appreciated, but I,m no computer buff !! Re: Going Digital
Ive just noticed this about a month late. FYI i have messed about with various bits of software and the one for me is JRiver media Center its got the look and some more, ive tried Media Monkey, Windows Media Player, I Tunes, sorry not for me.
If its FLAC you want to us which is what I use, ITunes and WMP don't support it, i think there scared of good sound quality. For the record i aint no pc buff either and i am running my hi fi soley using FLAC files. If you need anymore info please PM, as i tend to go on for hours. HA HA |

Re: Going Digital
+1 for JRiver, it's great. Try using Filelizer with it, can be worthwhile, and it's free.
