Kt120 pp
I've not posted on here for a few years but having read the thread on the 50 Watt amp. I thought I'd post a pic of my 30W KT120 push pull.
Styling is based on the Leben amps from Japan.

Re: Kt120 pp
Hi Steve,
Very, very elegant, I am guessing that for 30Watts the KT120 are triode connected parallel push pull, unless you have hidden the OPTxs under the chassis. Just had a look at the thread on A/T, yep under the chassis they are, very neat indeed! John Last edited by John Caswell; 11th October 2013 at 02:38 PM. Reason: Additional comment |

Re: Kt120 pp
Aye...I like hidden OPTs.
The OPTs are on loan from NickG and are a drop through type made by BLS. Not wanting a pair of big holes in the top plate I removed the end bell and hung the transformers inside from top hat insulated, 4mm threaded rods. It works nicely.

Oh, wow. That looks very classy indeed! The terms are all Greek to me, but it sounds very good. Impressive!
