Heybrook Octet information ?

I stumbled across some references to the Octet but couldn't find much except a few mentions of a bad review, I think it was on gramophone, where it was stated that the tweeter stopped faster than the mid and bass drivers, making the rendition bad.

So, who designed them ? It can't have been that bad, I also found out there were various revisions too, but couldn't find any more detailed info at all...
