Default Kel84 for sale

Hi,

I'm looking to sell my Kel84 integrated amp. Not sure what price to to ask to be honest so thought I'd post on here to start with to see if any of you would be interested. The amp has had some minor upgrades over the years and has run reliably since first building the kit.

If anyone is interested please post a reply or message me. I can supply detailed pictures and have some spare valves that would be included (I'll have to dig them put cupboard and will list them on here later).

I can demo the amp if anyone interested and is local enough for us to meet.

Cheers

Howard

OK, but much more information is required to attract a sale. Is it an original WAD design or the later WD kit? How old is it? How many inputs does it have? What exactly are the upgrades you have carried out? Photo's would assist you to gather interest and of course, you must have a price in mind that you would like to secure, so stating a target for that would help you enormously.

Hi,

Sorry for the slow update but it's been a bit manic in my world recently.

Anyway, here's some more info on the amp:

It's and WAD kit from December 2002 and has 5 inputs and 1 tape loop. It has run reliably from first switch on. The only issue I have had is some ringing occasionally on one channel. This was tracked down to one of the ECF80 valves. I have 4 sets of ECF80 valves. When I get home tonight I'll see what brand they are and they will come with the amp. For output valves it is still running the original EL84s it was supplied with and still sounds great.

Upgrades:
Alps blue pot
Metallised Polypropylene Coupling caps
Input wiring was replaced with Van Damme instrument wire

One mod that is still on the amp but I can remove completely if required is that the output valves can be switched to operate in either UL or Triode mode. As said, I am happy to remove this and ensure the amp is fully working prior to any sale if required.

That's all I can remember thus far for any mods. I'll open the case tonight and see if anything else jumps out at me as being upgraded but I think that is it.
