Re: SECA Kit circuits and PCB layout
Hi Colin,
If you think previous posts have been removed it is probably because you are advertising your own kit on a competitors forum. Matthew Snell owns this forum which is directly linked to his ownership of WD which markets valve kits. Your new seca kit is advertised on HiFi Answers, HFS, TAS and probably elsewhere which is appropriate because they are general forums with no particular affiliation to any product or company. However, the WD forum is generally intended to be available for the users or buyers of WD valve kits. With no disrespect, I think on this occasion you are tramping on Matthew's turf which you have no right to do. I know you are a gentleman and will completely understand. Also, although this is not really my role, I thought you should know soonest about the situation. I am not a moderator but those who are may take longer to respond. Re: SECA Kit circuits and PCB layout
I've obtained two amp PCB's from Colin to try myself.
Production will start soon, now got 2 x 1mtr lengths of 1"aluminium bar and two 1.7mtr lengths of 4" x 4" x 1/4" aluminium angle ( both 6082 T6 engineering grade) to play with. The power supply will be a home built capacitor multiplier type built on 2mm FR4 board using turret tags. Watch this space.
