Default My amp voltages are different to the circuit spec

The first thing to bear in mind is that the voltages measured in a valve amplifier can vary by up to +/- 10% in normal operation without any detrimental effects.

With that in mind certain critical voltages are normally well within specification, i.e. negative bias and cathode bias voltages around the OP valves. Because of the way the WAD amps are designed, without any valves plugged in and with the amp switched on you should be able to measure the bias voltages on the control grids (G1) of the OP valves and it should be as stated in the instructions.

If there are any voltages wildly out then suspect poor wiring, components fitted in the wrong place or the wrong way around or a faulty component.

If in any doubt carefully measure the voltages, noting them down and appeal for help on the BB. Try to be clear and concise and if you have upgraded components please say so as it may help in fault finding.
