Message upload hanging - World-Designs-Forum

I don’t know if this is related to the post I made a few days ago which when I tried to upload disappeared into the ether but tonight I have also found when committing to submit, the message hangs for around 30 seconds. I am using iPad so with Safari.

yes this is happing a lot on pc with google chrome

Hanging again today windows 10 home and Google chrome

Yes Greg, I’ve also noticed my last two or three posts have been slow to upload as you describe. I’m also using iPad and Safari.

My posts sometimes hang but if I sit and wait they usually post. They sometimes time out and are lost before posting so anything long I do in open office first then copy in. So, sometimes not perfect but easy enough to work around and a long way from the days of dial-up

Matthew has stated there is no time out on message posting now.

Yes mine behaves similarly but almost always posts if I wait.

Yes, I've not seen a setting for a time limit on making a post per se, but session timeout is 30 mins so if I get distracted or go to a new tab and start checking stuff or browsing elsewhere it will timeout, so I start long stuff or jot thoughts down in a text editor then paste it in.
