I don't have an oscilloscope, what can I use instead?
Many tests will be unavailable to you without an Oscilloscope, although it is not essential to be in possession of one to build a fully working WAD amplifier kit, it will be useful if you wish to experiment or perhaps embark on a scratch build of a valve amplifier.
Oscilloscopes can be bought second hand on the web via many surplus outlets (EG Stewarts of Reading, eBay etc) alternatively a PC can be used with input hardware and control software, these are very versatile products but can be more expensive and more awkward to use than the traditional items.
