Hi john thanks for your very generous offer to look at the CF pre. But know need and Bob thanks you for your kind offer as well ihave had a change of plan You will both be pleased to know the pre will not be going in the bin however it will be taking on other duties in my headphone TV and DVD system with a single input feed by a Dac or it may become a buffer output stage for the DAC not sure yet ether way it will still be in full use.
