Bit disappointed. She put in a huge amount of enthusiasm and energy and demonstrated the human end-user experience side of it, yet it never seemed to lead anywhere. The visits to high-tech labs were followed up by reversion to five-year-olds' playtime and parading down the street asking vehicles to honk their horns.
Too large an element of it was pitched somewhere between Playschool and Blue Peter, I felt.

Would have preferred a version you could imagine James May or Jim al-Khalili doing.

I might be wrong, but a TV licence is not to watch the BBC but having a device that will allow to receive such broadcasts? I would drop the BBC if that was the case..lol.

As I said, rather disappointing. Don't bother unless you are going round there anyway.

Hi Chris
Checked with the BBC website.
I can use internet to watch any channel on catch up but not live, except BBC which I cannot watch at all (catch-up or live)
I cannot own a device capable of receiving off air tv live broadcasts for any channel
Obviously computers are exempt from licence otherwise everyone would need a tv licence which would be unenforceable as well as unfair. Throughly checked as they keep writing and threatening to call as they do not believe I can live without a tv for some reason lol
