PSU II, Phono II problem
I've been using a PSU II and Phono II for years and trying to fix a low 50Hz hum last night I managed to blow it up. The "magic smoke smell' seems to be coming from the PSU.
I'm keen to have a look to see if it is recoverable, but don't have a circuit diagram any more, or any info about what the test voltages should be. If anyone can share this info it would be much appreciated. Thanks! Nick |

Re: PSU II, Phono II problem
Hi Nick, Greg is the man you need to contact, he has all the circuit diagrams and can send to you, it is a very simple PSU and powering just the Phono is very low current about 4 to 5 mA. Lots of help on here. Bob

Re: PSU II, Phono II problem
Thanks Bob - I’ve sent a message to him directly. Once I have some measurements and am out of my depth (won’t be long!) I’ll come back on the forum for help/solace.
