Default Wd88va

I’m up to speed with most of the WAD range but am considering buying a WD88VA which I’m not familiar with. What does the VA stand for and where can I find the circuit diagram and other information on this model?

To carry on from Johns post, WORLD DESIGNS, KT88 valves, VALVE AMPLIFIER, I think that all products coming from, now WD (Matthew Snell) are far better constructed ( all chassis are now Aluminium ) with better assembly instructions. I have one of the first WA88VA, replacing a WAD KAT 6550, the 88 is silent in operation. Bob

Malcolm, as John suggests, I can supply you with a circuit diagram for the WD88VA. Just PM me your email address and I’ll forward it to you.

Peter Comeau published six articles in HiFi World about the WD88VA from June to December 2006. These articles are currently available on the WD Platinum CDRom. See link.
