kt88 power amp repair

Good morning all . having got my amp up and running it is time to get my kat 88 going again i am not at all confident with this amp as it is not tag board is there any one on here who could repair it for me .

Hi bob. had a look inside it has a badly blown burnt resistor and slight damage to the pcb this is how i got it back from the person i let borrow it so could be more problems. i have not had it on power in case it did more harm.they said they broke a valve when it was on power .It is a wad kt88 power amp.

The problem sounds familiar, it may have taken a capacitor out too or given both resistor and cap a hard time, valves will need to be tested, and or replace. Your best bet is to contact John as I don't have the data for this amp, or may be others can help. Bob
