Just thought Id add to this thread, a few weeks ago I looked at a company called Cherry Audio Accessories on ebay, they have Acrylic Turntable Mats for a number of turntables, I purchased one for the LP12, it fits perfectly, looks fab and it works, I just did not believe how crapy the original Linn felt mat is, every record now sounds so much nicer, just take a look and read the feedback, it will be the best £30.00 you ever spend. Kind of ironic considering the bile that many Linn devotees poured on Pink Triangle when they introduced acrylic platters over 40 years ago!

Now that is high praise coming from one who is sceptical (at best) about HiFi gimmicks and spurious add ons.

Well always rated pink I have had a deck, now long gone but still have a day of theirs which is excellent
