Just a thought, and maybe it’ll be to complicated, but if people donated by bank transfer they could set up a direct debit/standing order to make annual payments.
No charges then and could simply be marked “forum payment” or just subs.
Mathew’s views would be helpful.

Hi John,
Thanks for keeping the user forum going. I don’t get on here much due to lack of time and I am more active on some other forums. I am grateful for the help I have received. I have sent a small donation via PayPal friends and family.

I would use the forum more if I was able to access it on tapatalk app. If you are looking at an update for the forum it may be a good idea to see if it can be used by the tappatalk app.
