Thinkl i may just get away with this

1st 7" single - Brian Ferry - Hard Rain's Gonna Fall, pink sleeve and the original pink island record label, funny what stick in your memory

1st Album Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells - like the cover, come on i was 13 and took a chance

Ive been doing it ever since and it works most of the time LOL

Art of noise - close to the edit.
I listened to this the other day, and was quite impressed I went for this as an 11 year old. I wouldn't listen to it regularly now, but occasionally it's still quite good...

My first record was of Buddy Hollys Heartbeat on a 78 rpm which I played on a wind up Gramophone that I had sort of repaired

Okay, this is sort of embarrassing given recent events. At about age 12 I was given a record player and headed off to our local rural supermarket with enough money to get two LPs. One was Mozart Symphony K something or other in G, the other was.......Rolf Harris......

and yes, at age twelve I really did buy a Mozart LP, played it to death to.
