Hello Prince - Raw Blues (Decca) is one of my all time favouritest, bestest,wonderfullest LPs ever!

Picked my copy up from a 2nd hand record shop in Aberdeen. I was already familiar with it, as one of my brothers has had it from new.

Im currently listening to electronic music by a band called Shpongle, there making quite a stir on headfi's forum so i though id try them out. Apart from an amazing sound quality- you can loose yourself in the massive soundstage they seem to produce.
I've listened to a lot of electronic music in the past but this group are something else. I recommend a listen to - (Tales of the inexpressable) and (Are you shpongled) No need for any stimulants http://www.myspace.com/therealshpongle

A recording of class 52 Western region diesel hydraulic locos on the "Western Sunset" railtour in 1975.
Sentinel Records LPP.508 Not quite the same appeal as a steam engine. Philip the steam.

Im listening to a selection of 12inch singles recenty bought for a few quid from oxfam, Queen, Big country, Echo and the Bunnymen etc.
Stunning sound - dont think cd can deliver that impact at any price
