Raw Blues (Mike Vernon compilation) - John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Otis Spann (with Muddy Waters), Champion Jack Dupree, Curtis Jones, Peter Green, Steve Winwood.

Blues Jam At Chess - Fleetwood Mac, Otis Spann, Willie Dixon, Shakey Horton, J.T. Brown, Buddy Guy, Honey Boy Edwards, S.P. Leary.

Hello Prince - Raw Blues (Decca) is one of my all time favouritest, bestest,wonderfullest LPs ever!

I would even buy it on CD, if it existed.

Picked my copy up from a 2nd hand record shop in Aberdeen. I was already familiar with it, as one of my brothers has had it from new.

Im currently listening to electronic music by a band called Shpongle, there making quite a stir on headfi's forum so i though id try them out. Apart from an amazing sound quality- you can loose yourself in the massive soundstage they seem to produce.
I've listened to a lot of electronic music in the past but this group are something else.
I recommend a listen to - (Tales of the inexpressable) and (Are you shpongled)

Sentinel Records LPP.508

Not quite the same appeal as a steam engine.

Im listening to a selection of 12inch singles recenty bought for a few quid from oxfam, Queen, Big country, Echo and the Bunnymen etc.

Stunning sound - dont think cd can deliver that impact at any price
