Melody Gardot
Yep got this couple of weeks ago
It is good But not too sure if I like it that much to give it the thumps up alongside Diana Krall a favourite of mine at the moment but it does warrant a few more listens
For anyone interested in this female jazz vocalists try these clips

Smile Re: what are you listening to now

Following an article in today's Telegraph NP about Wilco Johnson. Looked him on Spotify. Been Playing all his tracks whilst preparing a Cottage Pie. Wife still working so I am the cook Mon till Fri. Only time I can wind up the volume.!
Only remember Dr Feelgood from their hits. Not their band members.
Why has he not been better appreciated! Brilliant Guitar playing and the rest of the band, Pianist marvellous.

I think you'll find Wilco is very well regarded and has a significant following as an musician in his own right. He must have passed you by until now
Tragic he's not got long for this earth.

Jon Allen's Dead Man's Suit. Bought it after hearing him supporting Robert Cray at The Anvil, Basingstoke.

Highly promising on first listen; and being a Southpaw myself I always like watching left handed guitarists in action....
